#1. Writing in your own discipline

Our environment today is full of people that have distinct ideas. Some people think so differently that others may think they are “weird”. In writing, people can write through their own way and ideas, this could be your own experience in life. Sometimes some people will have an idea and experiences that is the same with others but because we people have unique ideas still we can think differently from anybody else and express ourselves in a unique way.
It is natural to all to have a great interest in some aspects we choose. This interest increases the possibility and desire to express their ideas to any readers. This is what writing in the discipline is. In this manner, we students are expected to bring some ideas and write well that connects to the program that we choose or in our discipline. Discipline here doesn’t means that we have to follow some rules and guidelines in writing but this is a manner with how and what  you will write in your chosen program or discipline.
When we write, we also have to consider what we are writing and if the readers we choose will be able to like it. Even readers too have different ideas and perspectives in life.  They have their own way with how they will give reaction and feedbacks to your writings.
Through learning in how to write in your discipline, we as students can gain knowledge on the elements of technical writing and ways in preparing a research study.
